The MapOfStrange website is a way of recording strange, wacky, weird and wonderful anomalies, sights and oddities from Google Maps and Google Earth.

Seems a bit low on content but hopefully this site keeps chugging along. Some interesting very high resolution satellite images in Africa of wildlife on this page.
